Are Papillions generally good-natured dogs?

I'm thinking of adopting a Papillion and was wondering if in general they are good-natured. I know every individual dog has a slightly different personality but there are general tendencies. I currently have a Pomeranian and while I love him, he's very opinionated and likes things his way. I'm looking for a dog that's a bit less like this, but also outgoing and affectionate.
